Lohan Gets Some Credibility Back (AND HOW!)

Lindsay Lohan has signed on to play Meryl Streep's daughter in Robert Altman's upcoming A Prarie Home Companion, a project that begins production in April. It was written by Garrison Keiller, who will also appear in the film. The cast, like all Altman films, is very large and diverse: Lily Tomlin, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kevin Kline, Lyle Lovett, Tom Waitts and the aforementioned Lohan and Streep. The film is about a small town's country music station. The last time Altman tackled country music the result was Nashville. Anywho, back to Lohan. It seemed lately her career was plunging due the partying, the dismissed music career and the Paris Hilton and Tara Reid gal-paling. Hopefully, she's dropped all this and will now go back to following through the promise she showed.
