'Brokeback' Goes To Venice For a Heath Triple Attack

Brokeback Mountain will be one of the many selections In Competition at this year's Venice Film Festival. Among others include Terry Gilliam's The Brothers Grimm (also starring Heath Ledger), the Gwyneth Paltrow showcase Proof, George Clooney's black and white Good Night. And, Good Luck, the musical Romance and Cigarettes as well as The Constant Gardener. Films playing out of competition include Ledger's remaining fall film Casanova, Cameron Crowe's Elizabethtown and the courtroom-meets-exorcism drama The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

The festival also confirmed Brokeback Mountain's running time as 134 minutes, almost exactly what I was expecting.
